Identifying true, enterprise-wide pain points allows us to be strategic about opportunities and gives our pipeline value.

We will engage in opportunities if they are presented internally or externally, but we will be selective and strategic in which opportunities we pursue.

Solutions Pipeline Phases:

  • Analysis: Projects will undergo various analyses to understand the scope, need, and market competition.
  • Development: Projects are ready for development.; during this phase, the project scope is created, workflows are established, a timeline is made, and team members are assigned roles. Dependent on need, pilot processes are utilized to gain a better understanding of the fit at MUSC Health.
  • Delivery: Projects have undergone development and are ready for deployment. Solutions will track the project’s status to ensure the project is on track and KPIs are being met.
  • Transition: Projects have successfully been incubated by the Solutions team and are ready to transition out of Solutions and on to a new operational owner.
  • Oversight: Projects have demonstrated operational effectiveness or are not actively being engaged by the Solutions team. The Solutions team will schedule regular cadence to ensure initiatives and key KPIs are being met.

How we partner: Many solutions required great deal of ongoing project management (PM) support, which the PM department sources for us. This may be a pilot or the implementation of a new platform to be used across the organization. The PM office helps to move solutions into deployment and ensure the right groups are engaged for implementation.
