Opportunities to Explore the Urban Farm
Work & Learn Sessions
Held each week and provide opportunities for participants to engage in hands-on learning about sustainable urban agriculture including stewardship, planting, and harvesting. Topics vary each week, generally related to the current season and related tasks.
Participants are asked to sign a waiver and a photo release form which you can pick up at the Farm. Please bring water and sunscreen and wear closed-toe shoes. Bring a plastic bag and take home some fresh produce in return for your work efforts when crops are ready for harvest. Open to all MUSC employees, students, and the general public. Lunch & Learns
Bring your lunch and join us for a brief gardening or nutrition presentation while enjoying an opportunity to socialize and meet new friends under the oak tree. Preregistration is not required for lunch and learns and these sessions are open to MUSC employees, students, families, and the general public. Check the Yammer broadcast page or Urban Farm page for dates.
Program Requests & Reservations
The MUSC Urban Farm is available upon request for group tours, educational programs, events, or meetings. If interested, please complete the event request form and the farm coordinator will follow up with scheduling information. Fees may apply for non-MUSC groups.
