Global Health Classes Offered at MUSC

Center for Global Health
September 04, 2012

MUSC is kicking off the Fall 2012 Semester with two courses focused on global health. These classes are a great opportunity for the MUSC community to learn more about how global health impacts everyone in South Carolina and around the world. A greater awareness of global health issues helps improve thinking about local issues in our own institutions and communities, both of which are becoming more global as the population continues to diversify. As a world, we are starting to look more the same in terms of the health problems that we face. Did you know that chronic non-communicable diseases, like cardiovascular diesease, cancer and diabetes, are now responsible for 60 percent of all deaths world?

Sign up for these classes to learn more and enroll in the MUSC Global Health Certificate Program!
