We are pleased to share that we have launched our 2024 vision for OneMUSC. This new plan follows our original strategic mission, introduced in 2020, inspiring us to “change what’s possible” through Innovation, Impact and Influence. Indeed, we’ve made significant progress over the last five years, but that was just the beginning. Our recently developed OneMUSC strategic plan is bold, highlighted by aggressive 20-year aspirational goals for the future.

As an academic healthcare system 200 years in the making, we know the importance of evolving to meet shifting healthcare needs, and our new era of the OneMUSC strategic plan reflects just that.

Within 20 years ...

  • MUSC will be a top 20 academic health system in the nation.
  • South Carolina will be top 20 in the nation for health outcomes.

Along with our aspiration goals, we’ve identified three new focus areas for OneMUSC to guide our path forward, unified by our mission to preserve and optimize human life in South Carolina and beyond.
