MUSC Wellness Center is proud to offer a lot of special programs for any fitness level:

Boot Camp

U. S. Marines lead participants in a military style fitness training class. This class focuses on overall fitness and endurance training. The structure, accountability, camaraderie, and overall fitness make this the ultimate exercise experience.


H.I.T.S. is a strength and conditioning program that improves overall athleticism in any athlete or individual.


The MUSC Wellness Center offers mat and equipment-based Pilates classes for those looking to reshape their bodies and correct muscular imbalances. Pilates training helps to strengthen what’s weak and stretch what is tight for improved body mechanics. It can radically transform the way your body looks, feels and moves and aids in reducing injuries.

Boxing Programs

We offer unique boxing and boxer conditioning programs. Superior training for all major components of physical fitness.

Healthy Charleston Challenge

Healthy Charleston Challenge is a comprehensive 10-week overweight/obesity chronic-disease prevention program and an activity competition located at the Wellness Center. The program concentrates on Lifestyle check-up for brain health and performance.

Piece It Together 

Exercise/ Nutrition/ Stress Reduction Intervention Program for Teens and Young Adults with Autism Spectrum and/or Mild Neurodevelopmental Disorders.

Hooked on Health

For individuals in recovery from addiction disorder and those who are interested in exercise and nutrition to create healthy habits to support long-term sustainability of recovery.

Breast Cancer Survivor Fitness Program

Rock Steady Boxing

Rock Steady Boxing gives people with Parkinson’s disease hope by improving their quality of life through a non-contact boxing based fitness curriculum.  Rock Steady Boxing classes focus around exercises emphasizing gross motor movement, balance, core strength, and rhythm which favorably impact range of motion, flexibility, posture, gait, and activities of daily living.

Karen's Class

This class is designed for ages 50 years and over and focuses on agility, balance, coordination, endurance, stretching, and strength training. Physician clearance is required.

Stae Fit

S.T.A.E. Fit (Strength Training and Aerobic Exercise) Healthy MUSCles for Seniors! This program combines strength, aerobics, flexibility, and balance exercises.

Women on Weights

This program is designed to educate and familiarize women on how to properly use weight training exercises to effectively improve strength, coordination, balance, core control
