Center for Global Health

The MUSC Center for Global Health, reporting to the Office of the Provost, is a university-wide initiative to bring global efforts under one umbrella to advance the global vision of MUSC and to serve as a catalyst for the innovative work of our faculty and students. The mission of the Center for Global Health is to advance MUSC’s efforts to improve health in South Carolina and around the world through research, education and training, and service.

Latest Global Health Headlines

Spring Student and Trainee Travel Grant Application Cycle Now Open

MUSC students and trainees have until January 23 to apply for funding to support travel costs for global health projects abroad. Annually, the MUSC Center for Global Health offers international travel grants of up to $2,000 for those individuals seeking to complete project in low and middle-income countries. The goal of each award is to assist recipients in furthering global health research or training projects abroad.
