Tree Campus Healthcare Institution & Tree Campus University designations through the Arbor Day Foundation.

Housed as subcommittee of the MUSC Arboretum Board, MUSC Tree Campus Healthcare and MUSC Tree Campus University designations are recognized as part of the Arbor Day Foundation which aims to transform community health and wellness and ultimately save lives through the health benefits provided by trees.

MUSC meets the five program standards:

• Formation of an advisory committee
• Development of a tree care plan
• Participation in a community forestry project
• Education
• Community engagement
