This office fosters strong organizational engagement for MUSC employees, drives cultural transformation, and supports strategic initiatives in alignment with the OneMUSC Strategic Plan.

  • Led by Director of Assessment, Culture, Engagement, and Operations DaQurta Wright, Ed.D., this office:
  • Data Analytics and Insight-Driven Solutions: Leveraging data analytics to assess culture, measure outcomes, and guide informed decision-making to support a healthier and more inclusive MUSC community. 
  • Special Employee Engagement Programs and Recognitions: Coordinating impactful programs, like employee resource groups and recognition programs like the Earl B. Higgins Award program. 
  • Collaborative Partnerships: Working across the enterprise with leaders, ICCE administrators, MUSC’s colleges, and Regional Health Networks to address concerns and partner on innovative solutions for systemic change. 
  • Community Impact: Strengthening connections with external partners to advance strategic initiatives and foster trust within all communities we serve. 
  • Cultural Observances: Promoting shared understanding and respect through meaningful celebrations and recognition of diverse cultural contributions.
