MUSC Office of Public Affairs and Media Relations Internship Program

MUSC’s Office of Public Affairs and Media Relations has been involved in the teaching and mentoring of college-level students as interns since the mid-1990s to support the institution’s mission of providing excellence in internal and external communications.

Internships include the opportunity to research, interview, coordinate, and write news stories for MUSC Catalyst News (print and digital) and help with media relations activities.

Interns may learn about photography, videography, editing, writing news releases, social media, crisis communications, and special projects.
