"Neonatal Resuscitation in Low Resource Countries - A Holistic Approach"

Indira Narayanan, M.D.

Dr. Indira Narayanan is a pediatrician-neonatologist whose work has focused on the needs of newborns for over 30 years, addressing issues ranging from grass-root level interventions to intensive care. She has experience working in sixteen countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. She is now an independent consultant and has worked for a number of organizations including private volunteer organizations (PVOs), UN Organizations, and USAID, the last as a lead convener for neonatal resuscitation commodities for the UN Commission for Life-Saving Commodities for Women and Children. She is currently providing support to the government of Ghana in developing national-level strategies to reduce neonatal mortality.
