Dr. Robinson is a general surgeon and Clinical Heald of the Department of Surgery at the University Teaching Hospital Butare - the national referral hospital in Rwanda located in the southern province of Huye District. He has dedicated his career to scaling up surgical training in Rwanda and improving patient management in resource constricted surgical environments. Dr. Robinson is an active member of The College of Surgeons of East, Central, and Southern Africa (COSECSA), Association of Surgeons in Uganda, and the Rwanda Surgical Society. He began his medical career in his home country of Uganda at Makerere University in Kampala.
