Organized and Facilitated by Caitlyn Ellerbe, PhD, Research Assistant Professor of Public Health Sciences, MUSC

The aim of this workshop is to highlight the critical components for the design and implementation of global studies. Sessions will focus on determining a meaningful effect size, options for randomization and blinding, working with IRBs, best practices for central monitoring, special considerations for working with the host site(s), and finally novel study designs (adaptive designs, stepped wedge designs, and bridging studies).
