The 7th Annual Global Health Week was a great success. The Center for Global Health brought together speakers from five continents and eight time zones for a series of panels on lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic; the human impact of war and conflict with voices from Syria, Ukraine, and Ethiopia; and a roundtable discussion on global health equity with in-country partners discussing how health is shaped in different contexts, challenges, barriers, and strategies. The panels drew a large audience from across the globe. You can view panel recordings on our website.

This year’s Annual International Bazaar “Taste the Nations” capped off the week with a two-day celebration of the diverse cultures of our international students, scholars, and faculty. Spanning the Greenway, attendees watched international drum, dance, and martial art performances, browsed global merchandise stands, and dined on international food. Thank you to our MUSC International Student Association volunteers and to all who came out to celebrate the beauty of MUSC diversity. If you missed the performances, view photos and recorded performances on the Center for Global Health Flickr account.

Thank you to all of this year's performers and vendors who made this event happen.
