Lexington Medical Cancer Center affiliates with MUSC Hollings Cancer Center to advance research and education

West Columbia, S.C. (July 27, 2022) – Lexington Medical Center is pleased to announce Lexington Medical Cancer Center’s clinical research and education affiliation with MUSC Hollings Cancer Center in Charleston, South Carolina. This partnership will provide Lexington Medical Center patients access to MUSC’s National Cancer Institute-designated clinical trials and continue to ensure that they receive high-quality and comprehensive cancer services. 

Through this affiliation, Lexington Medical Cancer Center will work collaboratively with MUSC to advance the expertise of clinical staff and offer the latest in cancer treatment research. Specifically, the affiliation with MUSC Hollings Cancer Center will allow Lexington Medical Center’s patients access to more than 200 clinical trials, providing patients in the Midlands with a wide range of the most promising cancer treatments currently available in the nation.
