MUSC Innovation Week 2022 is a week long celebration of MUSC’s culture of innovation. The programming is designed to inspire and empower the MUSC community to innovate, this week has something for everyone.

Innovation Week 2021 Tracks

With a mix of On Demand and Live sessions, this tract highlight significant ways in which technology is shaping the future of healthcare, education and research.

Find out how technology and innovations are changing the education landscape. Plus, gain practical tips through the on demand sessions or live events that any educator can implement.


The MUSC Research podcast Science Never Sleeps is releasing four special segments in the on demand library. They discuss the future of research in regenerative and personalized medicine, cancer and genetics/genomics related to heart disease. Also shared is an uplifting piece that was previously broadcast in December 2020 on the ingenuity of an international cadre of scientists working together to solve a COVID-19 related problem ...and to make some beautiful music!

Individuals and teams showcase their ideas and skills while competing in various events throughout the week. These sessions include our signature events, the MUSC Poster Session (net ID required to access) and the Shark Tank competition where MUSC leaders select ideas for implementation.

These sessions, managed by the MUSC Foundation for Research Development (FRD), are designed to raise awareness of the many resources available through MUSC’s innovation ecosystem and to educate innovators on the path forward for great innovations. This is the perfect track to learn how to implement your best ideas.
