Training & Intercultural Education

Training and Intercultural Education is committed to enhancing inclusive excellence education and professional development to ensure every member of the MUSC community develops an appreciation for the richness that our differences bring and demonstrates a commitment to our culture of inclusion. 

If you are hosting or organizing a program/training with inclusive excellece objectives or outcomes and would like to request an Equity credit for attendees, please complete the Internal Inclusive Excellece Program/Training Credit Consideration Form.  Requests must be submitted at least 14 days in advance.  

If you have attended a program with inclusive excellence  objectives or outcomes and would like to request an Equity credit, please complete the External Inclusive Excellence Professional Development Consideration Form. Requests must be submitted by June 30, 2024.

Training and Intercultural Education serves as a resource for students, faculty and staff in the planning and implementation of programs that enhance intercultural and interprofessional awareness and dialogue.

Consultation Form

As MUSC continues to grow, the importance of Inclusive Excellence is essential to the innovation and impact within the enterprise and the communities that we serve.

Working with leaders and employees across the enterprise, the Training and Intercultural Education team in the Office of Equity offers consultations and internal trainings. This team will assist in aligning efforts and giving you the tools to support the  MUSC mission. Following the preliminary consultation, please allocate a minimum of two weeks for a follow up to requests for team/group trainings.
