Thomas A. Pitts Memorial Lectureship

Inspired The 30th -annual Thomas A. Pitts Memorial Lectureship: “The Ethics of Precision Medicine” will take place on April 12, 2024. The event will be held in person and online; in person limited to 80 people.

Learning Circles Jigsaw: Innovation Week 2024 Edition

Inspired by the Cooperative Learning Jigsaw Strategy, Learning Circles Jigsaw elevates the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) at MUSC through rapid fire sessions where faculty and staff share innovative strategies to boost educational outcomes. This biannual event features contributions from faculty across MUSC's six colleges, Education Innovation Advocates, and ITFR program contributors. Presenters offer insights into faculty development initiatives, SoTL pursuits, and milestones in education innovation. Dr. Julaine Fowlin, Ph.D. and Denzil Coleman host.

Teaching & Learning in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (AI) - only for teaching faculty and Educational Technology Staff

Supported by the ITFR program, this all day symposium will provide information on where learning is heading with the growing presence of AI in education. Hear from keynote speaker C. Edward Watson, Ph.D., the Associate Vice President for Curricular and Pedagogical Innovation and Executive Director of Open Educational Resources and Digital Innovation at the American Association of Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) and Susan Hrach, Ph.D., the director of the Faculty Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning at Columbus State University, Georgia.
